Derpy Tiger Piñata (K-Pop Demon Hunters) — DIY Guide + Printable Template

Materials you’ll need
- One roll of standard size medium blue crepe paper (usually 2.5m long x 50 cm wide) or crepestreamers (color to match Derpy as close as possible)
- Cardboard box (i.e. Amazon box)
- Thin cardboard (i.e. cereal box)
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Packing tape or masking tape
- Tissue paper or kitchen paper towels
- Recycled newspaper, plastic bags or bubble wrap (to create the volume)
- Pencil or Pen Scissors
- Optional: Box cutter or a sharp knife (makes cutting the cardboard box much easier)

Quick Steps
- Print PDFs at 100%
- Assemble the template and transfer to cardboard. Cut to identical panels
- Cut cardboard strips for the sides and attach them to the back panel.
- Insert the hanging rope at the top
- Close the pinata by attaching the front panel, and cut a small latch for the candy.
- Cover the sides and back with crepe paper
- Transfer the template again, this time to thin cardboard (i.e. cereal box)
- Cover with crumpled newspaper or plastic bags to create the volume. Cover with paper towels to create a smooth surface
- Cover the whole piece with fringed crepe paper
- Glue the face details and elements in place
- Attach the tongue and Sussie
- Fill with candy
